krra committee

The Kommetjie Residents' and Ratepayers' Association (KRRA) is open to
everyone living or owning property in Kommetjie.

KRRA is a voluntary association and none of the office bearers receives salaries or stipends.

Funds are used for community-based projects such as alien invasive vegetation clearing, pathway building and maintenance, newsletter printing and legal advice on development proposals.

We have minutes of Kommetjie meetings dating back to the nineteen forties - so a good history of civic participation in local matters.

The 2012 committee is made up of:

Theo Verrijdt - Chair
Daryn Smith - Vice Chair
Patrick Lowe - Treasurer
Patrick Dowling
Kirk Elsworth
Patricia Mather
Trevor Ross-Gillespie
Paul Austin
Bruce Marvin

The 2012 volunteers are made up of:

Bruce Campbell Smith
Clive Gay
Tristan Melland
Robyn Hoepner
Rebecca Sturgeon
Lyn Steyn
Ras de Beer
Rod Gurzynski
