Protea Ridge public comment due by 5 July

Do not forget to review and submit your comments on the Basic Assessment Report (BAR) for Protea Ridge.

Protea Ridge, which would be accessed from Riverside Glen and sits between Riverside Glen and the back of Klein Slangkop.

The proposal is for an additional 102 residential units, this is over and above what is already planned in Riverside Glen Extension, the Wireless 1 and 2 developments, the Central Site development and the Lighthouse development.

Most of the potential new residents would need to commute to work using the congested Kommetjie Road and Ou Kaapse Weg. Not to mention all the other infrastructure that is at capacity such as schools, and policing and the impact on the environment.

Residents have until 5 July 2013 to review the plans and BAR and make comments. These can be downloaded here:
