Train Safety Project for Far South Learners

A group of parents  are working together with Metro Rail in order to create safe travel for our children. We really need your participation to ensure the success of this pilot project.

WE ARE WORKING TOGETHER WITH METRO RAIL TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILD

1)The following 3 trains between 2-4pm in the afternoons ( the high risk time and the main time students travel ) will have security on the two middle coaches – 1 Metro carriage and 1 Metro Plus carriage.

Train time and numbers below:

CPT (14.26) – Fish Hoek (15.24): #0177

CPT (14.35) – Fish Hoek (15.35): #0179

CPT (14.52)– Fish Hoek (15.50) : #0183

Fish Hoek (15.40) – CPT (16.36): #0200

Fish Hoek (16.08) – CPT (17.04) : #0204

Fish Hoek (16.20)– CPT (17.16) : #0206

Please register even if your child does not use the Southern Line for future updates. Metro Rail will be expanding the Security to all lines.

2) The remaining trains in this time period, again the same carriages, will continuously be met by platform security to address any possible issues.
