VENUE : Kommetjie Primary School.

The American rock-band – “Switchfoot” – were in Kommetjie for 8 days last year. They had their butts whupped at macking Crayfish Factory after playing a rock show at Grand West Arena. “Fading West” is the story of their 2012 World Tour during which they wrote their 9th studio album.

A film crew followed them through out the journey and recorded their stories. It’s a travel log, a surf movie and a documentary about the Grammy Award winning band.
