Have your say about the Kom Boardwalk

KRRA is starting an initiative to raise funds for the maintenance and repair of the much loved Kom Boardwalk, which is an icon for locals and visitors alike. Please fill in the survey.

The repair and management normally falls under the Table Mountain National Park (Redhill section). However, after the recent devastating fires and destruction of large parts of many walkways in TMNP -- from Silvermine to Tokai and elsewhere -- there are no funds for Kommetjie.

After consulting with various experts, it has been ascertained that it does not need full replacing (this would cost from the ground up R1,000 per metre, or R500,000 for the full 500m).

Our target is an amount of R300k. Please would you mind filling out this short survey to get a feeling for what residents would like to do.
