Heritage Day Picnic on The Kom

It is with great excitement that the Simon’s Town Museum, The District Six Museum, Fish Hoek Museum, and The Kommetjie Rate Payers Association invite you to the inaugural Heritage Day Picnic and Commemoration on Saturday, 27^th September.

The aim of the day is to bring together communities to unveil the Wag 'n Bietjie Memorial bench, followed by a community picnic and games.  The District Six Museum will be on site to record snippets of people's stories from the Valley. This is your opportunity to share your story and to connect with surrounding communities through the community picnic. Everyone is welcome to the bring and share.

Date: Saturday 27^th September

Time: 11:00 am – 14:00 pm

Meet at the Boat Slip way for commemoration, followed by Community Picnic and games by Fish Hoek 1^st Scouts at the Kom.

Bring your picnic baskets and camper chairs. Everyone is welcome. Feel free to share amongst your networks.
