Here are the KRRA elected questions made for our submission for the recent Mayoral meeting:
1. How will the City ensure that in its eagerness for development and densification it does not further compromise critical infrastructure needed to support such moves? Sewage, potable water, road congestion, green spaces and landfill airspace are particular concerns along with electricity reliability.
2. Proposed phase 2 extension of Houmoed Avenue needs to be prioritised to alleviate the traffic congestion on the Kommetjie road.
3. COCT providing a separate tarred side-walk and cycle track for pedestrians and vulnerable road users moving between Kommetjie and Ocean View.
