Roll up, roll up, the Tiny Art Gallery (TAG) is making its debut this November in Kommetjie – and you get a chance to win the entire collection of delectable art pieces!
Each of the participating artists of Open Studios Kommetjie (OSK) are creating a tiny piece of work that will be presented in a miniature ‘gallery’. When we say tiny, we mean 6-8 cm framed paintings and prints alongside ceramics and sculptures. OSK is collaborating with TAG as this year’s Giving Back project in support of Hope Town, Ocean View. TAG will be exhibiting all 24 tiny art pieces initially in Blue Water Café, Imhoff farm, from 1 - 22 November. It will then move to Good Riddance 23-30 November and finally with Tracey at the SEEF office (next to Espresso) for the Open Studios weekend 1-3 December. To win this incredible collection of artworks, tickets will be on sale for R100 to enter the prize draw. Entries open 1 November and are available online https://tagct.online/fundraiser/win/ also at the SEEF office or at the event itself, in artists’ studios. There is no limit to how many tickets you buy. Entries close at 6pm on 3rd December and the draw will be on the 5th of Dec at 12pm. The winner will be notified directly and announced on social media. Funds raised are going to an excellent and important local NPO -Hope Town OV- so really a win win! The Tiny Art Gallery is the brainchild of Michelle Beattie and will be an ongoing venture once this initial collaboration with OSK is complete.
