PeaceJam South Africa, in partnership with the Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation, presents ‘THE POWER OF PEACE,’ a dialogue with Nobel Peace Laureate Tawakkol Karman.
Tawakkol was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2011 for her efforts “for the non-violent struggle for women’s safety and rights to full participation in peacebuilding work. Tawakkol became the first Arab woman to win the award, and at 32, Tawakkol was the youngest winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.
