Have your say in shaping Cape Town’s future

The City of Cape Town will soon review its Municipal Spatial Development Framework and eight District Plans that guide development, land use, infrastructure investment and environmental planning across the metro.

Residents, landowners and interested parties are encouraged to register on the Spatial Planning Database by 25 July 2026 to receive updates and participate in upcoming district engagements.

The more people who register and participate in the process, the more our collective voice will be heard – which will hopefully increase our chances of having our vision included in the District Plan.
